Environment and Urban Gardening

In the summer of 2012, Trinfo Staff designed a 5 weeks curriculum on the environment and urban gardening for the youngsters at Mary Hooker. Here are photos of them in action:

Global Climate Change at Mary Hooker

A group of 4th and 5th graders, along with a group of 6th to 8th graders learned about global climate change this summer and put together two different projects based on their findings.  The 4th and 5th graders created action pamphlets to educate their schoolmates and teachers on what they can do to help save the plantet.  The 6th to 8th graders made Power Point presentations to raise awareness of global climate change and it’s impact on our community.

The 2014 Winter Olympics

In the spring semester of 2014, Richelle Benjamin and George Thekkedath worked with Mary Hooker elementary in order to promote and develop computer literacy to 3rd and 5th graders. In order to relate the course material to current events, each student created a powerpoint on an assigned athlete from the Winter Olympics, which was going on at the time. Below are the powerpoints the students created.
