Mission & History
While Trinity delivers educational services with state-of-the-art technology, only 36% of the College’s immediate neighbors have access to the Internet. Trinfo.Café evolved out of the desire to rectify this inequality by serving local residents, civic organizations, and small businesses. Before Trinfo.Café, the Trinity Information Exchange (TIE) was created in 1996 to connect arts and educational organizations.
Open Time & Classroom Space
Trinfo’s computers are linked to the Internet via high speed connection and feature many useful office and internet applications. Some of the computers are also equipped with webcams so that you may exchange digital pictures over the Internet or participate in an Internet video meeting. The computers are also networked to a printer so that you may print any information you need.
Computer Literacy & Media Production Workstations
Computer Literacy Classes meet in a small room at Trinfo that is separate from the computer lab and offers private space for one-on-one learning.
Public Access Workstations & TV
Apart from the computer lab, Trinfo offers a lounge space for patrons to watch the news and educational videos, enjoy a snack, read magazines, and meet quietly. During the school year this space is used to offer movie nights and other community activities.
Free Coffee, Tea, & More...
Trinfo offers free coffee, tea, and water to its patrons on a daily basis. Furthermore, there is a microwave that people may use to heat up snacks. However, the kitchen is not open for general use.
on a journey to bridge the digital divide between the College and the surrounding neighborhoods.
Those who accept the invitation receive a Trinfo mug that should be used when drinking coffee or tea at our facility.
